Making Memories

Want an unforgettable birthday? Come and have a party in the woods.

Don’t tell me the sky’s the limit when there’s footprints on the moon

Footprints on the Moon is a forest school and nursery set in the beautiful surroundings of Plessey Woods, Northumberland. We use the forest as our classroom, a place where children can learn, explore and develop while in connection with the natural world. We believe that away from the confines of the classroom, children have the space to be themselves and learn in a way that works for them. In our experience, the holistic, child-centred approach of forest school helps every single child to thrive - regardless of age, ability or background - by developing better communication, self-confidence and resilience.
